报告简介:

It is widely recognized that ecology can have a major impact on evolution, yet much of our understanding of host-parasite coevolution is based on theoretical models that lack population dynamics. I will discuss how and why ecology fundamentally changes coevolutionary outcomes between hosts and parasites, the consequences this is likely to have for predictions of patterns of diversity across space and time, and implications for the evolution sexual reproduction.
